ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องที่จะพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับเอธิโอเปียให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้นในสาขาที่เป็นประโยชน์ร่วมกัน โดยเฉพาะการค้าการลงทุน ความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนา และการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพ โดยประธานาธิบดีเอธิโอเปียชื่นชมความโดดเด่นของไทยด้านเศรษฐกิจและการให้บริการทางการแพทย์ และยินดีที่เห็นบทบาทของสตรีในแวดวงการทูตจากการที่ไทยแต่งตั้งเอกอัครราชทูตสตรีเป็นผู้แทนประเทศ ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตศศิริทธิ์ฯ ยืนยันความพร้อมของไทยที่จะส่งเสริมความร่วมมือกับเอธิโอเปีย โดยจะเยือนเอธิโอเปียในอนาคตอันใกล้เพื่อหารือกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของเอธิโอเปียเพื่อผลักดันความร่วมมือในสาขาข้างต้นให้เกิดผลที่เป็นรูปธรรมต่อไป

On 1 October 2021 in Addis Ababa, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Ms. Sasirit Tangulrat presented the Letter of Credence to H.E. Mrs. Sahle-Work Zewde, President of Ethiopia, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Ethiopia with residence in Nairobi.

Both sides agreed to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Thailand and Ethiopia in the areas of mutual benefits, especially trade and investment, development cooperation, and medical tourism. The President of Ethiopia praised Thailand's economic advancement and medical services, and appreciated to see women's role in diplomacy as Thailand is represented by a woman ambassador. On this occasion, Ambassador Sasirit expressed Thailand's and her readiness to work with Ethiopia starting from her visit to Ethiopia in the near future to discuss with Ethiopian authorities concerned and bring tangible outcomes on areas mentioned above.
