เมื่อวันที่ 22 มกราคม 2567 นายต่อศักดิ์ จันทร์เพียร อุปทูตฯ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี ในฐานะหัวหน้าคณะผู้แทนไทยในการประชุม South Summit ครั้งที่ 3 ของกลุ่ม 77 และจีน ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้หัวข้อ "Leaving no one behind" ระหว่างวันที่ 21-23 มกราคม 2567 ณ กรุงกัมปาลา สาธารณรัฐยูกันดา ได้กล่าวถ้อยแถลงของไทยในการประชุมเต็มคณะ โดยเน้นย้ำความสำคัญของกลุ่ม 77 และจีน ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มความร่วมมือของประเทศกำลังพัฒนา และเสนอแนวทาง 3Ps เพื่อยกระดับการดำเนินงานของกรอบนี้ให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น ได้แก่ (1) People-centred (2) Planet-centric และ (3) Partnership-oriented พร้อมกล่าวถึงบทบาทของไทยในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนาในภูมิภาคแอฟริกาผ่านกรมความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ (TICA) ในประเทศต่าง ๆ อาทิ เคนยา เบนิน เลโซโท โมซัมบิก บุรุนดี และเซเนกัล

On 22 January 2024, Mr. Torsak Janpian, Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Royal Thai Embassy in Nairobi, as head of the delegation of Thailand to the 3rd South Summit of the Group of 77 and China - held under the theme "Leaving no one behind" during 21-23 January 2024 in Kampala, Republic of Uganda - delivered Thailand's national statement during the plenary session.  The statement focused on the importance of the Group as a platform for developing countries and proposed Thailand's "3Ps" approach to enhance its capacity to deliver its mandates including (1) People-centred; (2) Planet-centric; and (3) Partnership-oriented. Thailand's role in development cooperation in Africa was also highlighted; through the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA)’s projects, such as in Kenya, Benin, Lesotho, Mozambique, Burundi and Senegal.
