เมื่อวันที่ 2 ธันวาคม 2565 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี จัดงานเลี้ยงรับรองเนื่องในวันคล้ายวันพระบรมราชสมภพ พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร วันชาติ และวันพ่อแห่งชาติ ณ โรงแรม Serena กรุงไนโรบี มีผู้เข้าร่วมงาน ประมาณ 200 คน ประกอบด้วย คณะทูตานุทูต ผู้แทนองค์การระหว่างประเทศ ผู้แทนภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนของเคนยา สื่อมวลชน รวมทั้งชุมชนไทยในเคนยา

นางสาวศศิริทธิ์ ตันกุลรัตน์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี และนาย George Otina อธิบดีกรมทวิภาคีและการเมือง กระทรวงการต่างประเทศเคนยาในฐานะแขกเกียรติยศ ได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์น้อมรำลึกถึงพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ความสำคัญของสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ และโอกาส 55 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทย-เคนยา ตลอดจนการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างไทย-เคนยาในทุกมิติ นอกจากนี้ ภายในงานมีการแสดงนิทรรศการเกี่ยวกับปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง ภาพวาดไทย การแสดงนาฏศิลป์ โดยคณะนาฏศิลป์จากสถาบันบัณฑิตพัฒนศิลป์ การบรรเลงเพลงพระราชนิพนธ์โดยวงดนตรีประสานเสียงจากเคนยา การแกะสลักผักผลไม้ และการร้อยมาลัย ซึ่งเป็นที่ชื่นชอบของแขกผู้เข้าร่วมงานอย่างยิ่ง

On 2 December 2022, Ms. Sasirit Tangulrat, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Kenya hosted a Reception on the occasion of Thailand’s National Day, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great's Birthday Anniversary, and Thai Father’s Day at Serena Hotel in Nairobi. The reception was attended by approximately 200 guests, including the Diplomatic Corps, high-level representatives from United Nations in Nairobi, officials from the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya, various public and private agencies of Kenya, the Thai community and Friends of Thailand. On this occasion, the Thai Ambassador and Ambassador George Otina, Director-General for Bilateral and Political Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya delivered remarks to commemorate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s Birthday Anniversary, the 55th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Kenya, and ways forward to foster relations between Thailand and Kenya in all dimensions.
Besides the official ceremony, there were also a number of activities, including the exhibitions on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) bestowed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the masterpieces of Thai traditional paintings, the  traditional dances from Bunditpattanasil Institute and jazz music performance of songs composed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great by the local musical band in Kenya, vegetable and fruit carving, and making of flower garland, which were well appreciated by all guests.
